About OneStudentry

OneStudentry is a grassroots, student-founded organization designed to enhance and promote collaboration throughout and between the fields of conflict resolution and international development in Washington, D.C. To achieve these goals, OneStudentry engages students, academics, practitioners, student organizations, advocacy groups, NGOs and government agencies. OneStudentry founded a website in March 2007 with the goal of providing a central location for information sharing amongst these parties. OneStudentry also hosts a yearly gathering, the Innovations in Student Leadership Conference, which serves to connect students and professionals in creative and energizing ways. It is the hope of the organization that the synergistic pairing of face-to-face community building and a supporting online resource will act to coordinate the initiative and projects of those throughout the fields of both conflict resolution and international development.

OneStudentry provides a web-based network for Washington, DC students interested in conflict resolution and international development. It features:

* Community-edited calendar to advertise, promote and provide assistance for your events and other events in the DC area.
* A database of helpful links to NGOs, student groups and governmental organizations.
* "Stories from the Field," a unique videoblog showing best practices of OneStudentry partners from around the world.
* The latest news and job listings from international newspapers, think tanks, NGOs and other organizations.

OneStudentry will relaunch February 23, 2008 to coincide with the Innovations in Student Leadership Conference.
